In this 45-60 minute visit we will discuss your desires and wishes for your birth journey and how I could best support you and your family. We will discuss my style and approach to doula work and the terms of my contract agreement. Once the agreement is signed I am available to you through the remainder of your pregnancy for consulting , research and resource help and emotional support. My package includes 2 in person prenatal visits and one postpartum Visit and unlimited hours during the labor and Birth of your child.

During the first visit we will generally discuss in detail your birth plan and go over the best ways to realize its success. We will go over comfort measures for labor and routines that can be done during pregnancy to support the best outcome. During the second prenatal visit we will fine tune the birth plan and talk a lot about postpartum plans and how we can ensure that your transition home and into this important time can be as supported and seamless as possible.

I will be on call for your labor for the 2 weeks before and after your estimated due date. When you go into labor I will be available to you via phone and text until you are ready for my presence. Once you call me in for support I will remain with you providing physical and emotional support and acting as an advocate for you and your partner throughout the entire process of labor and birth and the first hour or so after baby has made their entrance.

This visit usually occurs after one week home but before 2 weeks postpartum. We will discuss the birth and your feelings about it and if there are any gaps that I can fill in. I will welcome feedback and appreciate all notes you have. We will discuss any struggles you may be encountering and any support you feel you need in the moment and going forward. I will be there to provide any resources or information I can to help to fill those needs.
